Haas Corp. Buys Radian's Chemical
Management Operation

WEST CHESTER, PA. (Oct. 8) -- Haas Corp. has acquired the Total Chemical Management business of Radian International LLC to form Haas TCM, which company officials are billing as the world´s largest independent chemical management service company.

The merger combines Haas´ chemical usage and waste reduction know-how with Radian TCM´s expertise in procurment, logistics and environmental health and safety compliance.

The chemical management industry began about 20 years ago when the semiconductor and automotive industries began outsourcing the management of the chemical life-cycle functions to chemical companies.
