WEST CHESTER, PA, January 6, 2000 - Haas Corporation,

today that it was helping to further the environmental and economic
causes of chemical management by becoming a founding member of the
Chemical Management Services (CMS) Forum, a project of the Chemical
Strategies Partnership (CSP). The mission of the CMS Forum is to
grow the awareness and practice of economically and environmentally
beneficial management services.
Members of the CMS Forum represent the leading edge
of chemical management in a wide range of industries from around
the country. The CMS Forum is a project of the CSP with funding
from the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Heinz Endowments. The CMS
Forum will bring together interested chemical users, service providers,
chemical manufacturers, academics, and other parties to share information
and promote the chemical services industry to further the CSP’s
mission to reduce the use of toxic chemicals in U.S. manufacturing.
CSP works with companies to help redefine the way they purchase
and manage their chemicals.
