WEST CHESTER, PA, January 15, 2001 - Haas Corporation,

that General Motors had awarded it two major new Chemical Management
Programs.
Haas Corporation was awarded a new contract at the
Allison Transmission Division plant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This
plant produces truck transmissions and represents one of their major
plants.
Haas Corporation was also awarded the Chemical Management
program for the General Motors Lansing, Michigan assembly plants.
This contract includes the new Grand River assembly facility, the
car assembly plant, the craft center that handles special vehicle
production operations, and the major new assembly plant (“Platinum
Project”) pre-construction chemical management program.
