Designed and developed by Haas TCM specifically for
the complexities of chemicals, our “state-of-the-art”
e-commerce and information system is an internet-based technology
platform operating from our data center located in Austin, Texas.
Thus, there is no software to purchase, no
data bases to maintain and no applications
to install. Moreover, tcmIS seamlessly integrates
with both customers’ and suppliers’
enterprise resource planning (ERP) and accounting systems, creating
a virtual network of stakeholders. As shown in the figure below,
tcmIS creates a “virtual network”
of chemical end users, product manufacturers and suppliers, and
Haas TCM staff to automate transactions and provide real-time visibility
to chemical lifecycle data and information.

As an enterprise data system, tcmIS
is routinely accessed and used by employees from various customer
organizations, including engineering staff (for specifications,
product evaluations and pricing), production personnel (for demand
management), EHS department (compliance and reporting) and functional
and financial managers across the customers’ enterprise. tcmIS
automatically captures all purchasing, usage and process activity
and operating data as they are created, thereby
eliminating double entry and data handling errors. Recordkeeping,
data analysis and reporting are therefore done in real time.
