We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Gas Commodity Manager at our Corporate Headquarters located in West Chester, PA.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

He/She will have the responsibility of managing the Gases commodity program including spend, execution of sourcing projects, contracts, coordination of cylinder storage, returns and certifications on behalf of Haas TCM's clients. This individual will have the skills, knowledge and experience needed to effectively lead Haas TCM's Gases program, manage and lead sourcing process on behalf of Haas TCM's clients.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Manage Gases procurement requirements across Haas TCM's multiple client base
  • Assess and analyze spend across client base
  • Identify and quantify opportunity
  • Manage contracts
  • Ensure compliance with client reporting requirements
• Work collaboratively with Haas TCM's Account Managers and clients to identify and qualify potential vendors; solicit bids; conduct pricing and contract negotiations to achieve cost reduction goals
• Work collaboratively with Haas TCM's Account Managers and clients to identify and qualify potential vendors; solicit bids; conduct pricing and contract negotiations to achieve cost reduction goals
• Manage vendors; implement vendor scorecards and other vendor management tools; improve overall process efficiency and reduce process costs
• Work with Haas TCM's Account Managers to coordinate cylinder storage, returns, certifications and support new product needs
• Support sales department with by providing best price estimates to prospective customers and represent Haas TCM as commodity expert
  

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree
• 7+ years of sourcing and procurement experience preferably in Industrial Gases and Chemical commodities
• Excellent strategic sourcing skills, negotiation and contract drafting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, Access, Powerpoint
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Desire to continue alignment with Gases and Chemicals sourcing
