Job Title: Strategic Account Manager
Reports To: VP of Sales - Americas
Job Location: West Chester PA or Dallas Texas
General Summary:
Key responsibilities are the retention and growth of one or more strategic customers, to identify needs and develop strategic goals and objectives using a consultative approach to selling. This person must develop relationships, manage requirements and drive profitable revenue growth while exceeding the expectations of the customer.
Individual Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include exceeding an annual sales quota by retaining and driving profitable growth, developing multiple levels of relationships within the customers organization, especially at the most senior levels, performing quarterly and annual business reviews, use a consultative sales process to develop a strategic account plan, manage for results in a matrix organization for maximum benefits to the company and the customer and personally develop the skills and competencies to be a successful account manager and leader in the company. Travel appropriately to insure success at multiple customer and company locations.
Management Responsibilities:
Work as a member of a team in a global, matrix organization. Coordinate administrative areas that support the selling activity in a manner which promotes teamwork and success.
Education and Experience:
College education with course work in business, marketing, or equivalent experience
Graduate experience is a plus
Demonstrated consecutive Sales Excellence (quota achievement) in prior sales responsibilities (6 - 8 years)
6-8 years Aerospace/Defense industry experience
