We have an opportunity for an Expediter in our Austin, TX location. The Expeditor is responsible for expediting shipments and transportation of materials at Customer's or Hub Manager's request.

He/She will work with suppliers and staff to effect earlier possible delivery for critical orders, stocked out materials and all orders past due to the Customer. The Expediter will confirm with suppliers that orders are shipped within projected schedule and troubleshoot delays and communicate problems promptly with Customers.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining current and appropriate expediting notes in tcmIs for all allocated orders;
• Updating expediting notes on unallocated orders as required;
• Working with Hub QA Manager to promptly manage all nonconforming deliveries, including obtaining missing certifications for suppliers
• Obtaining proof of delivery documentation as needed
• Notifying customer traffic manager of any misbilled freight invoices within 3 days of receipt.
• Working closely with supply team and Hub team to improve performance or to resolve Customer critical issues

On-site training to familiarize Expediter with MRP systems and utilities similar to our tcmIS utilities.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent

Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills including customer service skills.
Must be organized and detail oriented to support multi-tasking.
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
